COMPULSED "Amalgamated Anguish" CD

New Jersey’s Compulsed will unleash their debut full-length, Amalgamated Anguish, on August 15, 2025 — a record that balances surgical speed with deliberate, crushing weight. Rooted in the golden era of brutal death metal, the band draws influence from the iconic Unique Leader roster — Disgorge, Pyaemia, Deeds of Flesh — while warping the formula with the dissonant chaos of early Willowtip acts like Circle of Dead Children and Kalibas.

Rather than descending into pure blur, Amalgamated Anguish melds relentless aggression with twisted riffs, sharp structure, and unexpected turns. Brutality with a vision, a mutant strain of death metal that’s as memorable as it is merciless.

Formed in 2023, Compulsed dropped their demo in April 2024. Amalgamated Anguish was engineered, mixed, and mastered by AJ Viana (Waking the Cadaver, Cognitive) at AJ Viana Productions.
